Among the crazy passengers and stowaways are Reno Sweeney, an evangelist turned nightclub singer, a wealthy English aristocrat and his debutante fiancee, her pursuer, her protective mother, a wall street millionaire, an excitable moll, and a gangster - Moonface Martin - public enemy number 13.

City boy Ren thinks his life is over when he is forced to move to Bomont, an American rural backwater. But things are far worse than he could have ever imagined, as the town bans dancing. It isn’t long before Ren can’t resist breaking the rules, and he’s not alone.

The meek floral assistant Seymour stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his co-worker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Seymour if he keeps feeding it blood. Over time Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!
