YORKSHIRE THEATRE ARTS

An Exciting And Educational Platform For Musical Theatre Performance.

Yorkshire Theatre Arts provides an enjoyable and educational platform for performers to learn and express themselves through theatrical performance. We consistently strive for a high level of performance both in rehearsal and on stage. Students are engaged at all times and rehearsals are diverse, exciting and facilitate continuous development in drama, singing, dance, and performance.

Yorkshire Theatre Arts

Formed in 2014, Yorkshire Theatre Arts provides children with a space and guidance to learn and express themselves through theatrical performance. Led by fully DBS checked, formally trained, industry professionals, our students learn the fundamentals through to the finer points of musical theatre performance as we work towards our many shows and events a year. Previous students have now gone on to train in Drama and performing arts in award winning universities and colleges across the UK.

Our aim is to provide all children between the ages of 8 and 18 with an enjoyable and educational platform for performing musical theatre. We constantly strive for a high level of performance both in rehearsal and on stage and our members are engaged with diverse rehearsals  allowing them to express themselves not only through choreography or learnt lines, but through performance as a whole. We offer children the chance to develop their skills in singing, acting and dance as well as building their confidence and stage presence, performance techniques, and allowing them to access a deeper understanding of how to perform through enjoyment of the art.
